My First adoption.. “I have started the Adoption Process, How about you? “

Bangalore is becoming hotter these days, rare to find trees to stand for a while and relax. There is no place to plant a tree and the planted trees on sides of roads are dying due to lack of water. Is the way the world should be? Human selfishness is reaching its heights...I still feel guilty that, Why my bedroom has wooden cart and wooden cub board... My home is five KM from office and I drive in cycle daily. Before reaching the office I sweat a lot and the food I had for breakfast would have been already digested... If the trees are available on the way, I would haven’t sweated a lot…That’s where I got any idea of adopting a road side plants which is onstage of dying without water and watering them daily on the way to office. I started with one and now adopted one more...  I searched for a plant near my office and found one which is on the initial stage of life with few leaves popped out from stem, some are dried already and to check whether the plant still has life I s

Dont run to catch early morning garbage collecting van - Retain some calories by following my tips..

Five months back, my home dustbin will be full daily, untolerable smell and I need to run to dispose the waste when the BBMP vehicle comes to collect the waste... Most of the times my sleep will get disturbed due to the whistle sound and I don’t want this anymore...After the BBMP initiated a campaign near Majestic on Waste Management and simple technique to follow, I started to reuse many of the stuffs which I was thinking as waste... In this world nothing is waste unless u thinks its waste and most of the stuffs which we use in day to day life can be reused or recycled if managed properly. And now I am running, may be twice a week to dispose the waste... In future I will be no more running and I am working on the plan. I am sharing few tips which I am following now which helped me in gradually reducing the waste and minimized on polluting the environment (Only 20 to 30 % of the waste thrown in garbage has been reused and 80% remains in landfills which is polluting the water bo

Celebration of my Son Naming Ceremony "How different it was"...

Life became more beautiful after my son birth on Sep 11 th 2013, spent four days in hospital with wife and son. He looked very handsome and his skins were too soft, in the corner of heart I there is say he changed my generation color :) On the fifth day, we planned to discharge from hospital and taking him to in law home...I am bit social conscious always and thought when my son step his first step in home I need to celebrate his arrival in different way... I and Karthik (Cousin Brother of my wife) after returning from cinema saw a pet shop where the rabbits, pigeon, sparrow and few are prisoned (Jailed) inside a cage. The birds are supposed to be flying freely in air and enjoying, due to human selfishness and to add beauty to balconies we are arresting them inside a cage... “How do you feel when you being house arrested for a year or two, don’t you go mad”... Idea clicked, purchased two pigeons for 500 INR and walked towards in law home... For a surprise to my wife and son

1.5 Months of Cycling.."Staying Healthy"

For past 1.5 months I am cycling to office daily, it gives me a sense of joy while cycling. The reason why I started cycling is mainly to get some physical fitness and stay healthy. Being a software engineer it’s tough for me to put a concrete schedule for physical exercise, so thought of alternative plan. 2 months back i planned for a cycling trip to turahalli forest alone, asked Mahesh one of my peer to lend his bicycle for a weekend he agreed and got his bicycle but I am able to trip due to some injury…Till now the bicycle is with me and I am using it, my bicycle from hometown is on the way.   These days in Bangalore I see so many chaps cycling and happy to see that, atleast 1% of air pollution is getting reduced and in future I am sure that there will be so many bicycles in streets... “Time to burn fat”. Few weeks back when I was reading times of India e paper, there were statements and it sounds very much true and thus increased my awareness about my surroundings.

Improvisation of Internet Mail box -- Few Tips i followed

Keeping the mail box clean is one of the toughest job, number of mails keeps flooding every day including newsletters, spams... I never used to delete the read mails which was not important to me in future and also kept unread mails which was useless, I also created accounts in various sites like inbox.com, Hotmail.com, rediffmail.com, gmail.com but later on realizing why I need these many accounts just for mails I deleted most of the accounts and kept only 2 , one for official and one for personnel..  When I started cleaning my gmail account inbox, I made a strong resolution that maximum number of mails in inbox should be only 4 to 5...After working on weekends now, the inbox looks clean and neat, it’s like "More number of unwanted things in living room looks dirty, so either stuff things in their respective room or trash them..."  Here are few things i followed ..  Setup rules, filters, or labels: Create new rules, so that mails are directly navigated to
