Bread upma - A different dish prepared by my wife and it tasted awesome. Its very rare that i ask for extra food unless i like it very much..I loved this dish very much and asked my wife to serve more even my stomach was full..I too shared Bread upma with my office peers and they appreciated her cooking skills and some asked for recipe.. Here is the cooking method of bread upma and it will serve for two people.
Ingredients > 9 slices of bread , oil (2 tea spoon) , ghee (1 tea spoon) , Big onion (2) , gree chilli (2 to 3) ,Mustard , tomoto (3) , Tumeric ( 1/2 tea sppon) , salt (3/4 tea spoon) , Sambar powder (2 spoon), mint leaves few.
Cooking time - Max 15 to 20 minutes

Cooking time - Max 15 to 20 minutes
- Slice bread in to tiny pieces
- Slice Onion , green chilli , tomato and mint leaves and keep it separately.
- Turn on the gas stove and in a kadaai after well heated , pour oil ,ghee..
- With ghee and oil , mix the bread slices. Stir well for 5 to 10 mins and Pour the contents in to a plate after well mixed.
- In the empty kadaai , pour 2 to 3 tea spoon of oil
- Put mustard , green chilli and onion . Fry it for few mins and mix tomato with it.
- Stir well for 5 to 10 mins ,add turmeric and salt.. Stir well till you get good smell of the mix.. Don't Over heat.
- Mix both the contents of bread slices which is plate and with the contents in kadaai.. Mix well
- After 5 mins .. Time to Serve.
