Plant Relocation (Office - Temple) "Where there is a will , there is a way"

On June 17th When I stepped inside the office premises, I saw group of people in the nearby space of office clearing the construction debris and demolishing the temporary concrete house from that area. When I asked the security guard what’s going on, he replied back saying one guy got this empty space and he is going to construct a hotel and lodge... I am not worried about the construction that is going to happen but worried about the plants which the keystone family planted there a year back. “Planting is just a step towards a social movement but maintaining it is the biggest task”. My mind was totally upset after hearing the words from security, but my sub conscious mind said “The Plant can be saved and second life for plants is possible”. I inquired the watchman standing few meters away from me, when you guys are going to remove these plants?. He said right away in rude voice but the supervisor of the new building standing quietly broke his statement and said , he his bluffing you and the plants will be removed only by June 22nd after the land pooja. His statement energized me and the house keeping maids also said they can help me in uprooting the plants during weekends.

Now the two things which I need to work on are, getting the people to work on uprooting the plants during weekends and finding space for the plant relocation... I need atleast five people for help, instead of sending mail to 100 people I asked friends seated nearby to me(Umesh, Senthil, Shahin, and Saravanan) and reply was a successful message (“YES I can help”). Next is finding a new space for the plant... After various options, I finalized with plan of planting them in temple space... There were two temples one is temple nearby my home and another one is a new temple which is on the way to office from home... The later sounds to be a good option for me as there is a separate team in the temple who manage the temple park (I don’t need to worry about the maintenance) .. I talked to the Management owner about the idea and they are fine with it and happy too... Project Planning is done and next is the plan execution.

June 21st, Saturday morning at about 9 AM team started to uproot the plants sensitively and carefully. Two little kids from the nearby site also helped us in the activities, Umesh got his kid Vaishnavi to the office and she also helped us... There were about 15 plants where most of them are flowers, in an hour to 90 minutes all the plants are uprooted and placed in a sand bag... We haven’t uprooted the Banana trees as the roots has gone deep and felt very hard to uproot... We axed the banana plant and shared the stem which is eatable to the house keeping maid...Photos are taken for the memories... Next is going to the temple and planting it... In bikes the plants were taken and we reached the temple, since the management owner got stuck in some work we waited for about another 90 minutes to 2 hours in the temple till he comes... Initially we thought of leaving the plants and going home, but we don’t want to... If we would have left then it likes incomplete project completion. At last he came and with the help of workers there, plant got planted and watered “Smile in all faces”. After going home my wife cursed me for being late, as the activity is supposed to be completed within 2 hours but it took 5 hours :) , to neutralize her anger I took her outside for dinner :)

Second life is given for the plants and the plant is growing well now... “Where there is a will there is a way”...

Travel Light - Pack Smart

I tend to stuff more in the luggage back while going to hometown, traveling for a casual trip or business trip to other country. At the end I end up in wasting too much of energy in carrying the luggage where most of the stuffs will not used in the trip. So I started to explore the ways to optimize the luggage space and the stuff needs to go in to the luggage back which avoids burden. Wherever I read for alternate options it’s said “Travel light”. By traveling light, we end in carrying stuff which really needed for the trip and saving the fuel of the vehicle too… “What if someone puts a heavy load on your back and ask you to carry , U waste huge amount of energy , need energy drinks to replenish the body strength (Water , energy drinks) ..Same applies for vehicle, putting too much weight in car decreases the fuel efficiency and end in filling too much of petrol which takes too much of money from your pocket. For instance, If everyone traveling onsite “Travel Light”, more fuel w
